I am preparing a post with tips about where to stay in BsAs. I will focus on good neighborhoods to stay, tips, hotels and rental places. Don't worry! :) Please, wait a little bit. I will put together a good post for ya!
Choosing where to stay depends on some factors such as money, how many people is travelling, duration of the visit, and even ideology. Taking that in consideration, I would recomend staying in neighborhoods such as Recoleta, Puerto Madero and Palermo. They are safer, they have a good location and they are just beautiful.
I would also check the street traffic movement. Some streets can be really loud. A higher flat is better or, if the case, a flat that faces inside can be better noise wise.
I want to write more about Buenos Aires and I will make sure I do it before September. So, you can go with loads of tips.
