A Walk in the Park

I took a cxalm walk through Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro. This is a place I go really often to enjoy the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. I took a walk in the square park and noticed a sculpture that I have never noticed before...The little girl with the ballons is really cute!

It is incredible that when you decide to look at things differently, you actually see different things arround that we never saw before.

Camille Allen's Babies

Doll sculptor Camille Allen lives in Canada and learned the art of doll making with her husband's grandmother eight years ago. No, she is not a mother yet, but I think she would be a great one. Camille captures the babie's shapes in detail using clay or resin and all kinds of professional doll making materials. The babies are little small going from 1 inches to 4 inches. The prices vary from $99 to $4000 depending on its rarity and else. It is worth checking it out. I have selected some of her best dolls here! Moms-to-be, you will love and get inspired by these babies!

Jean Shin

The South-Korea artist, Jean Shin, uses daily-basis objects to construct her contemporary art sculptures and instalations. She is really creative and innovational. Her porfolio is very interesting. Shin´s pieces have been featured in Moma, New York, and she had texts published in The New York Times.

Check out some of her pieces!

Martin Waugh´s - Liquid Sculpture

Martin Waugh combines art and science to capture nature's infinite beauty.

Throughout history, water has calmed the soul, soothed the spirit and healed the wounded. Martin's free-flowing photography evokes images from rolling, rhythmic oceans to drops of water falling upon a lake, taking one on a spiritual journey bounded only by imagination.

By varying the size, speed and position of drops, as well as the color, viscosity, and surface tension, Martin creates a panorama of color, movement and intrigue.

Martin received his B.S. degree in Physics from Lewis and Clark College in Oregon. He lives in Portland, where he has kayaked many of the gorgeous white water rivers the region has to offer. His work can be found in museum, corporate, and private art collections.

Amazing water photos!
